Specifically, it's flashing red four times, between short periods (one second or so) of green. Furthermore, knocking into my cord made my laptop shut off entirely.
It was working fine before I last shut it down and went on a bike ride, and the little green light on the adaptor is on-even if it was feeling rather hot in one spot.
I think my battery's finally kicked the bucket altogether, and I'm fairly certain my power cord was to blame, what with the "please attach a 65watt or above adaptor to maintain optimal performance" messages every five to ten minutes.
The only batteries I can find on Dell's site are 48-hour ones, and while tempting, the 135.00 USD is cringeworthy.
So...anyone got any ideas?
